“China Taste” Theme Exchange Activity and "Hello! China "tourism promotion conference was recently held in Seoul. With food and wine as the link, this activity covers cultural tourism promotion, non-legacy display, interactive experience and other forms, aiming at deepening the exchanges between Chinese and Korean tourists and building a pragmatic platform for promoting industrial cooperation.

In the promotion session, representatives from Anhui Province, Shandong Province, Hainan Province and Wuxi City, Jiangsu Province respectively focused on local cultural tourism resources, food and wine culture, and boutique tourism routes for special promotion, interspersed with local cultural performances and lottery, and the atmosphere was warm and harmonious, fully demonstrating the unique charm and vitality of China cultural tourism. The event also set up a non-legacy interactive experience zone, "Hello! China "2026 Global Roadshow Plan for Inbound Tourism: South Korea special theme photo exhibition area, Chinese-Korean tourism enterprise docking area, etc. Relevant exhibition areas display China’s characteristic food culture, intangible cultural heritage skills and high-quality cultural tourism resources. Chinese and Korean tourism enterprises carry out precise docking around key directions such as cultural tourism product development, boutique line building and catering supporting cooperation, and further promote the in-depth cooperation and high-quality development of bilateral cultural tourism industries.

According to the person in charge of the China Cultural Center in Seoul, food is the most vivid window to perceive China and understand China. This activity takes the “taste of China” as a link, and combines food, intangible cultural heritage and cultural tourism to make Koreans feel the real and cordial China in the experience. China and South Korea are geographically close and culturally connected, and they are important tourist markets and partners of each other. I hope this event will be an opportunity to deepen the cooperation in cultural tourism industry and promote the exchanges between Chinese and Korean tourism.

This activity is jointly sponsored by the Chinese and foreign Cultural and Tourism Exchange Center, Seoul China Cultural Center and China Tourism Office in Seoul.
