Georgia Tourism Promotion Training Course Held
The Georgian Tourism Promotion Training Course sponsored by the Ministry of Commerce and undertaken by the Central College of Culture and Tourism Management (hereinafter referred to as “the College”) was held in Beijing and Lijiang. Sixteen Georgian officials and experts in tourism and related fields participated in the training. Ma Feng, president of the college, attended the opening and closing ceremony, and presented students with certificates of completion and exquisite gifts.
This training combines classroom teaching, case teaching, on-the-spot teaching, exchange and discussion with cultural and humanistic customs experience, focusing on promoting tourism development, and invites well-known experts and scholars from China Academy of Social Sciences, china tourism academy, beijing international studies university and other units and institutions to share China’s practical experience in Chinese modernization, innovative characteristics and development trends of China’s tourism economy, tourism development history and future prospects, tourism destination marketing strategies, competitiveness improvement of China’s outbound destinations and optimization of inbound tourism policies.
Participants have said that through field research during their stay in China, they have deeply realized the rapid development of cultural tourism in China, appreciated the broad prospects for the development of tourism industry in China, and expressed their desire to further strengthen exchanges and cooperation with various tourism enterprises and organizations in China.
