Tourists from English-speaking African countries come to China for further study.

A few days ago, the “Seminar on Tourism Resources Development in English-speaking African Countries” started in the Central College of Culture and Tourism Management. Twenty-six officials, experts and scholars from Angola, Equatorial Guinea, Mauritius, Sao Tome and Principe, Seychelles and Zambia participated in the seminar.

The purpose of this seminar is to implement the Ten Partnership Actions for China and Africa to Work Together to Promote Modernization announced at the Summit of the Forum on China-Africa Cooperation in 2024, to help China-Africa tourism cooperation and the revitalization of non-party tourism through training and exchanges, and to contribute to building a new era of all-weather community of destiny between China and Africa.

At the seminar, representatives from Africa thanked China for providing this valuable exchange opportunity, saying that the seminar not only showed China’s positive role in promoting mutual benefit and win-win with African countries, but also further strengthened bilateral cooperation between Africa and China in the fields of culture and tourism.

The theme of this seminar is “Tourism Resources Development”, and it is carried out by means of special lectures, visits, discussions and exchanges, and cultural and travel experiences. Chinese experts and scholars have in-depth exchanges and discussions with non-party personnel around the themes of “China’s concept and practice of promoting the development and utilization of tourism resources” and “Culture and tourism industry can empower rural high-quality development”. In addition, non-party representatives attending the seminar will also visit Zhengzhou, Henan Province, and visit only Henan Drama Fantasy City, Henan Museum and other places to conduct on-site observation and exchanges.
