"Tea and the World Elegant Collection" and China Culture Month were held in Chile.
Recently, the “Tea and the World, Elegant Collection” and China Culture Month jointly organized by China Cultural Center in Santiago, China-foreign Cultural and Tourism Exchange Center and Chinese Academy of Traditional Chinese Medicine were held in Santiago, Chile.
With tea as the media, this activity is accompanied by the theme exhibition of Chinese medicine+tea culture, the exhibition of ancient Chinese medicine books (replicas), the 3D naked-eye video guidance exercise of Chinese medicine techniques, the lectures and tasting of herbal tea, and the display of Chinese medicine cultural and creative products. From Chinese medicine classics to the guidance of Chinese medicine techniques, from the 24 solar terms to diet health, from the development of tea culture to herbal tea, from ancient times to the present, the deep relationship between Chinese medicine culture, tea culture and Chinese medicine health concept is systematically introduced.
At the activity site of Herbal Tea Tasting Workshop, a senior tea artist from the local area presented a unique tea culture display for the audience. Fresh and elegant green tea, natural and mellow white tea, fragrant oolong tea, black tea, yellow tea, medlar with nourishing liver, jujube with invigorating qi and nourishing blood, chrysanthemum with clearing heat and improving eyesight and other natural ingredients with nourishing health, a variety of herbal scented teas with both flavor and health value were prepared. The atmosphere at the event was warm, and many viewers enthusiastically participated in the tasting and said that through the experience, they fully felt the ingenious idea of “tea and medicine are of the same origin” in Chinese’s daily life, and had a more concrete perception of China’s traditional health preservation culture.
At the event site, a lecture on the theme of “Taking Food as the Medium and Civilized Taste”-Solar Term Health Table and Herbal Tea Tasting was also held. Chinese medicine practitioners were invited to systematically introduce the development of tea culture in China, the six major tea producing areas in China, the production technology and efficacy, and the herbal tea drinking method with natural herbal health ingredients for the guests and audience.
