The total number of entry-exit personnel at Beijing Port exceeded 15 million this year.

It was learned from the Beijing Border Inspection Station that at present, the heat of inbound and outbound tourism, business trips and family visits in summer continues to rise, and the passenger flow at Beijing Port is steadily rising and running at a high level. As of August 25, the total number of entry-exit personnel inspected by Beijing Border Inspection Station this year has exceeded 15 million, up 9% year-on-year, reaching this number 20 days earlier than last year.

Since the beginning of August, the number of entry-exit personnel at Beijing Port has been more than 70,000, of which the number of entry-exit personnel inspected on August 9 exceeded 82,000, setting a record for Beijing Port in the past six years.

As of August 25th, the number of foreigners entering and leaving Beijing Port this year reached 4.88 million, up 31.6% year-on-year, accounting for 32.5% of the total number of entry-exit personnel. Among them, 1.86 million foreigners enjoyed visa-free and temporary entry permit policies, accounting for 74.5% of the total number of foreigners entering the country.
